NASTASIA FIORENTINO
Writer and Book reader
For me, living is like travelling to an unknown destination. I am scared of not knowing what surprises fate will bring me, but at the same time I am excited by the idea of discovering it with a backpack and a camera.
My desire to explore the world led me to study languages and tourism at university and, after a long series of work experiences, made me fly to Spain, where I finally found out what I really wanted to do: a writer.
My dream began to take shape with the web page Do It In Spain, where I give tourist information about Spain, and where the idea of a series of narrated guidebooks was born. They have the purpose of making Spanish regional traditions known, through their large cities rich in history, art and nature.
A great challenge for me, who until that moment had never written a narrative text. Then I visited enchanting places, and all those emotions that I had felt while immersing myself in Spanish culture began to flow on the sheet of paper and I let myself be carried by the current.
Since then I have tried to convey to my readers the desire to walk barefoot on the sand in a coastal city, to stroll in parks where time seems to stop and the sounds of nature make you forget for a moment all the worries that haunt your mind, and to live any other exciting experience that will remain imprinted in your heart.
I think that dreaming is a bit like organizing the next trip: it becomes reality when you encounter setbacks along the way but then, step by step, you move forward, and in the end happiness and satisfaction arrive.
