REVIEW

A wonderful discovery that enthralled me from start to finish. The author’s style in telling historical facts captured my attention right away and made me reflect on political and social issues that are still very current and that cause an endless cycle of death, destruction and rebirth of humanity. Furthermore, the illustrations and the good synthesis and organization of the events described make reading more interesting and enjoyable, so much so that I felt a certain sadness when I finished the book.
The author has exposed in chronological order, through a historical essay, the events and characters that have caused a great impact on the history of humanity. In each short but intense chapter, he describes clearly and with a language accessible to a wide audience the different themes he addresses. Furthermore, the reader’s attention is caught by the illustrations on the main aspects of each topic.
Finally, the author’s personal opinions expressed in the form of an open dialogue with the reader encourage reflection and stimulate curiosity in wanting to delve deeper into the events told as in a novel.
